Dandelion Seeds

interior product styling

First day back at the office after a month of working for another graphic design agency – and a short week of summer holiday! Its a bit sad to see that the Norwegian summer is almost over, and today it felt like autumn was about to arrive. But one thing I love about the last summer days, are the dandelion seeds. Over the last couple of years the dandelion seeds have become a decorative element in many designs, and this wall decorations by Bility is a good example. I love the play on shadows and light! See more pics after the jump, or visit the lovely Icelandic store Birkiland!

Fabelaktig by Moelven

inspiration interior product styling

A year ago I worked for Grid design, on a huge project for Moelven – one of the biggest manufactures of processed timber and gluelam products. We wanted to show that wood could be used in a new, modern way when it came to interiors. Together we developed a series of wood panels and floors, called Fabelaktig. I was responsible for the entire styling for the products photos, and I am happy to see that both products and catalog finally are available at the Norwegian marked. Take a look at the pictures after the jump and download the catalog on to read more about the products. Read more…

Lucy McRea for Robyn

animation art fashion styling technology

Its not only the music I love about the Swedish artist Robyn, but the cover art of her 3 CDs this year, is also avant-garde and trendsetting. I’ve been dying to find out who the artist behind the three Body Talks albums is, and now I’ve finally got the answer! Australian artist Lucy McRae is a great mind whom I’ve written about before. I am always amazed by her take on the human body, using textures and shapes that are strange, bold and so, so beautiful. She had the art directed on the three album covers as well as the video for Indestructible, and here you can see more pictures and behind the scenes material from  «the making of»!

Nonsense in the Dark

fashion photography styling

Yesterday my own mother commented on the fact that I’ve been posting a lot of cute stuff lately, and I cant help but to agree. But my mom don’t think cute fit my style and would rather want to see edgy, hard core stuff… So I hope this is edgy enough for you mom!
«Nonsense in the Dark» is the title of this photo shoot made for the magazine Avenue Illustrated by Photographer Paco Peregin  and stylist Kattaca. I cant help but to think its a bit «Lady Gaga»-ish, but I love the silence, the oversized hair and makeup, and play on light and darkness in the photos. More pics after the jump!  Read more…
