Business and Innovation conference>
There is a lot of really interesting developments in Norwegian design at the moment, and one of the biggest things is the focus on service design. I’ve always loved to work with design across the disciplines and I am really happy to see that such an including term as service design are looked at as solution to future innovation. Yesterday I spent the day at Norwegian Design Councils annual Business and Innovation conference, and it was really exiting to hear how other design agencies and brands work with service design.
At the end of the conference Norwegian Design Council gave out the award of best Design Effect – an award that recognise projects which demonstrate design’s tangible impact on a client’s business. I will in the following post present a couple of my favorite projects among those that won the award!
Last night I was at the Visuelt award here in Oslo and here is an update on the evening! In the old and fabulous Christiania Theatre the graphic- industry in Norway got together, and with live music, entertainment, and off course awards – the evening was a success. See more of my pictures of the event after the jump and be sure to stay tuned as I will present the winners the next couple of days! Read more…
