How wine became modern…
> graphics packaging
Its been a long cold winter here in Norway and its still about 60 cm of snow outside my windows. I am dreaming of getting away, and one place I would love to be right now is in San Francisco at SFMOMA. The exhibition «how wine became modern» is not about tasting wine or drinking alcohol, but is about historical artifacts, architectural models, design objects, artworks, and enticing installations. The New Zealand based design agency Inhouse has three of their wines in the exhibition, and I love their playful, clean and contemporary approach on designing the label.

Bjørg
> graphics product
Its a crazy week in Oslo with both the music festival By:larm and Oslo Fashion week at the same time! Last night was the winner of the prestigious award Nåløyet given to cloth designer Haaning & Htoon and to Bjørg for accessories design. I love the style of Bjørg! Her collections of jewelleries are edgy, gorgeous and it really stands out among other jewels. Her dark and mysterious side has been perfectly used in the graphical profile developed by Martin at Anti Design. Take a look at some pictures for Bjørgs lookbook, as well as some of her stunning videos after the jump!

Snackle Mouth and Jade Monk
> graphics illustration packagingI am not sure if these packaging’s by Moxie Sozo communicates that they contain granola clusters and green tea, but they certainly have an incredible detailed and bold design. In the same way that a lot of people get freaked out by clowns, these packaging’s almost scare me at the same time as I am curious and intrigued to look at the details, the colours and the intense illustrations. Take a look at the pictures after the jump, what do you think? Read more…
Micheline by Anagram
> concept graphics interior
Anagram is a design studio I think would be amazing to work for – their portfolio shows a range of exiting and interesting products in the fields of both interior and graphic design. All projects with the same high-energy and detailed perfection. Micheline is a printing boutique founded in the mid 70′s and Anagram has made both the identity and the interior design for the store. Their goal was to create something that expressed uniqueness, elegance, and modernity. By mixing classical design objects with patterns, colors and lettering, I really think they have managed to do just that. More pics after the jump!
