Inspiration: my favourite food and dessert blogs
> food design inspirationNormally I write about design and design only at this blog, but today I want to go a bit off topic. I’ve been home sick for the last couple of days and I’ve spent my time watching episodes of Top Chef and Top Chef: just desserts. At one point in my life I had a really hard time choosing between going to culinary school and to study art and design. I ended up choosing the last (and I am really happy about that), but following what’s going on in the food industry makes me see many similarities between the two fields. So much of creating a perfect desert is about the construction, the design and off course the taste. Not to mention that the overall aesthetic is, as in design, the key ingredient whether it’s for a cake, a dish or a product.
Since cooing and baking really inspires me I tough I could give you my list of favourite food and dessert sites…
See my list as well as some fabulous food pictures after the jump.
