Ruins of Detroit

I have always been fascinated by ruins, and I remember the first time I snook into an abandond house. Watching all the personal object that were left behind and reading old newspapers dated 50 years back. To hold someone else’s private objects like that and being in their house, was a strange feeling and the reasons to why they left and what had happened just kept spinning around in my head. Photographers Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre have taken some amazing pictures of abandoned theaters and ruins of Detroit. More after the jump….
